Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) is introducing Srimathi Dokka Sitamma Diploma Course in Anganwadi from this academic year which was proposed a long time back.
According to course convener Dr T Nookaratnam the admissions will be accepted from July13 to 25 in some selected affiliated colleges of the university in East and West Godavari districts. Classes will be commenced in the respective colleges from July 27. The course duration is six months and classes will be held on every Saturday and Sunday.
The colleges selected for admissions are VSL Degree College, Kakinada, SKR College for Women, Rajamahendravaram in East Godavari, Srinivasa Degree College in Tadepalligudem, Srirama Chandra Degree College, Jangareddygudem, VSK Degree College, Bhimavaram and St Teresa Degree College for Women, Eluru in West Godavari district. The convener advised the students to avail this opportunity to study the diploma course as abundant job opportunities available.
