Kakinada, Jun 7 (UNI) Two persons were killed and another injured when two lorries one loaded with iron
pipes and another laden with cement collided head on, near Toorpugonagudem village of Rajanagaram Mandal in East Godavari district 70 kms from here on Thursday .
The deceased identified as Ashok (45) and Varadarajulu (50) natives of Srikakulam district, police said.
A boy traveling by sitting atop the pipes was caught amid the pipes and was rescued with a great difficulty by the rescue team that toiled for nearly four hours, sources said.
He was admitted to government hospital at Rajahmundry.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for postmortem pending further investigation, police said.</span>
