After pursuing his Masters in the United States, Rajamahendravaram lad Bharat Margani decided to test his fate in the showbiz world after he unexpectedly bagged a protagonist’s role in the 2017 romantic-drama ‘Oye Ninne’. Despite being passionate about films and modelling, the youngster inclined his focus towards politics in the following years and was appointed as the coordinator of Rajamahendravaram Parliamentary Constituency of YSRCP in 2018.
In the recently concluded parliament elections in Andhra Pradesh, Bharat Margani registered a thumping victory over his opponent with a considerable majority. During his maiden speech in Lok Sabha which happened to be after the budget session, the actor-cum-politician addressed several issues like the Special Category Status promised to AP and the lack of budgetary allocations to the state which is reeling under severe financial crisis.
One-film-old Bharat Margani has surely delivered an impressive speech as a first time MP. He happens to be the son of BC JAC chairman and noted industrialist Margani Nageswara Rao who shifted his loyalties from the Telugu Desam Party to the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSRCP last year.
