Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) registrar Prof S Teki has advised the students to enhance their technical knowledge to compete with others in the competitive world. The students should study with commitment and dedication to achieve their goals and also fulfil the aspirations of their parents, he said.
Addressing the students at a seminar conducted on ‘job opportunities in atomic energy sector’ on the campus here on Thursday, he said there are abundant opportunities in energy sector and it is the duty of the students to put their efforts to capture them. He asked the students to update themselves from time to time as the things are happening fast.
Baba Atomic Research Centre (BARC) scientist Dr KVNSPL Narasimham asked the students to know from racket to the electricity used in kitchen and the students should be well aware of all things happening around them. In atomic energy sector there are many categories of jobs and the students try hard to obtain jobs in the sector.
At present atomic energy is playing pivotal role in various ways in the world and will be increased in ensuing days. He briefed about atomic energy and its advantages and its offices etc to the students. University College of Engineering principal Dr V Persis, NSS programme coordinator BK Jiya Rani and others were present.
