The Andhra Pradesh Government has earmarked Rs.340 crore for promoting super specialty infrastructure in Government hospitals, says state health minister Kamineni Srinivas Rao.
He said henceforth heart ailment treatment will also be taken up as part of universal health in partnership with corporate hospitals and all government hospitals will be brought under one umbrella for effective management of drug supply and infrastructure development.
The health minister said that the health cards for journalists will be issued from April 6 and the chief minister will launch the health card scheme in Tirupati for the poor and eligible.
