Rajamahendravaram: A schoolgirl was crushed under the back wheels of her school bus at Jaalumidi village of Sitanagaram mandal on Thursday.
According to Sitanagaram police sub-inspector A Venkateswara Rao, Kantipudi Navya Sri, 11, and her sister Lakshmi Sri, 13, boarded their school bus at 8.30 am on Thursday at their house.
While boarding the bus, belt of Navya Sri fell on the ground and the girl tried to pick it. As the bus moved in the meantime, she came under the back wheels of the bus and suffered serious injuries. She was rushed to government headquarters hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.Read More…
