Meanwhile, chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy will resume his Memantha Siddham bus yatra on Thursday from Eethakota stay point. He took a day’s break on Wednesday on account of Sri Rama Navami festival.
The chief minister’s programme coordinator and MLC Talasila Raghuram said that the bus yatra will go through Tanuku, Ravolapalem, Jonnada and halt at Pottilanka (Kadiyam region) for lunch.
He will proceed towards Rajahmundry, passing through Kadiyapulanka, Vemagiri, Morampudi Junction to enter Rajahmundry city. Bus yatra will continue through Tadithota Junction, Church Centre, Devi Chowk, Paper Mill Center, Dewancheruvu, Rajanagaram, and conclude the Day 17 at ST Rajapuram for an overnight stay. The chief minister will not address any public meeting on Thursday.
Meanwhile, YSRCP leaders are extremely happy about the overwhelming response received to chief minister’s bus yatra, particularly in West Godavari district.
TDP and Jana Sena set high hopes on the kapu dominant Godavari districts to score maximum seats over YSRCP. However, YSRCP which bagged majority seats in the Godavari districts in the last elections, is hopeful of repeating its success particularly after the roaring success of Jagan’s bus yatra in Narsapuram and Eluru Lok Sabha constituencies.
Jagan is yet to cover Rajahmundry, Kakinada and Amalapuram constituencies where the party is planning to make it much bigger with Jagan’s roadshows and public meetings.
