‘Thanneer Mathan Dinangal’, the Malayalam movie released in 2019, is now being remade in Telugu. The coming-of-age comedy-drama is being remade as ‘Rajahmundry Rose Milk’. If the Malalayam original referred to watermelon, the Telugu remake refers to rose milk to suggest cool vibes.
Produced by Suresh Productions and Introupe Films, the film is already in the making. Starring Jai and Ananthika in the lead, the film has Vennela Kishore and Praveen in interesting roles.

New director Naani Bandreddi has picked multiple music directors: Govind Vasantha, Yashwanth Nag, Bharatt-Saurabh and Ajay Arasada. Touted to be a nostalgia-laced drama, the film is written by Praneeth Prattipati. If editing is by Karthik Srinivas, its lyrics are by Chandrabose, Ananth Sriram and Shreemani.
