SER dispatches 14135 MT O2 to 12 states, UTs

South Eastern Railway (SER) has already dispatched 14,135MT of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) to 12 different States and Union Territories for treatment of Covid affected patients.

Till noon of Sunday, SER from its three LMO loading points like Tatanagar, Rourkela and Bokaro has despatched 6,527 MT, 5,519 MT and 2,090 MT of LMO respectively to different corners of the Country for the treatment of Covid affected persons.

SER is moving the Oxygen Express Trains since April 23, 2021. These trains have moved towards Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Tamilnadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Kelara, Uttarakhand and Delhi.

For the purpose of swift loading and hassle free movement of the oxygen tankers and containers, the whole process from loading points to destinations, has been monitored at the Apex level with top priority.

Meanwhile, keeping in view the demand of the passengers, SER has decided to run Special Trains between Santragachi and Pune, Howrah and Yesvantpur and Shalimar and Secunderabad as per the schedule – train number 02492 Santragachi-Pune special leaving Santragachi on June 06, 2021, June 17, 2021 and June 24, 2021 at 23.25 hours will reach Pune at 09.05 hours, the third day. In the opposite direction, 02491 Pune-Santragachi Special leaving Pune on June 12, 2021, June 19, 2021 and June 26, 2021 at 17.40 hours will arrive Santragachi at 05.15 hours, the third day.

The train with fourteen Sleeper Class and four  General Second Class (fully reserved) coaches will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola,  Bhusaval, Ahmednagar and  Daund Stations  between Santragachi and Pune.

Train number 02469 Howrah-Yesvantpur Special leaving Howrah on June 10, 2021, June 17, 2021 and June 24, 2021 at 12.40 hours will reach Yesvantpur at 20.40 horrs, the next day. In the opposite direction, 02470 Yesvantpur-Howrah Special leaving Yesvantpur on June 13, 21, June 20, 21 and June 27, 21 at 05.15 hours will arrive Howrah at 13.25 hours, the next day.

The train with sixteen Sleeper Class and four  General Second Class fully reserved coaches will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore,  Bhadrak,  Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Renigunta, Katpadi and  Krishnarajapuram between Howrah and Yesvantpur.

Train number, 02449 Shalimar-Secunderabad Special leaving Shalimar on June 09, 21, June 16, 21, June 23, 21 and June 30, 21 at 12.20 hours will reach Secunderabad at 13.55 hours, the next day. In the opposite direction, train number, 02450 Secunderabad-Shalimar Special leaving Secunderabad on June 11, 21, June 18, 21, June 25, 21 and July 2, 21 at 04.00 hours will arrive Shalimar at 06.05 hours, the next day.

The train with twenty  General Second Class fully reserved coaches will have stoppages at Santragachi, Kharagpur,  Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur,  Palasa, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Eluru and Warangal between Shalimar and Secunderabad.
