Kakinada, May 3(UNI) Ms Vanga Geeta Viswanath, MP has said that the much-awaited Rs.100 crores 100 bedded modern ESI hospital would be ready within fifteen months.
She told media persons after commencing the construction work in Sambamurty Nagar area here along with city MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy and Narasapuram MLA Prasadaraju here on Monday, that industrial worker and their families numbering over two lakhs of people would be benefitted from the modern medical care.
Though the foundation stone was laid in February last year, she said the commencement of construction work was delayed due to technical reasons such as tendering process.
She hoped that the construction would be expedited and completed as scheduled within 15 months.
She said hitherto the industrial workers were depending upon the ESI hospital, Rajahmundry for medical treatment and the problem would be solved once for all with the completion of the construction of the building and commissioning of the hospital.
The MP further said that the Union Minister for labour and employment Suresh Kumar Gangwar had extended all-out support that ensure early finalization and sanction of the hospital. Central PWD assistant engineer Solmonraju, construction company engineer Anjaneyulu and site engineer Bhanuprathap were among those attended.
