Rigs supply to drill bore wells for each Assembly constituency : EG Collector

Kakinada, Sep 28 (UNI) East Godavari Collector D.Muralidhara Reddy has said that rigs to drill bore wells were being provided to 17 Assembly constituencies in the district except Kakinada and Rajahmundry city constituencies.

Participating in the Video conference on YSR Jalakala scheme held by the Chief Minister Jaganmohanreddy from Thadepalli camp office on Monday , the Collector said that an effective plan of action was formulated for implementation of the YSR Jalakala scheme .

He also informed the Chief Minister that steps were taken to fix motors also along with drilling of bore wells to small farmers free of cost.He said the scheme would be implemented strictly in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Chief Minister benefitting the small and marginal farmers .

Later the Collector has flagged off the rigs meant for 12 Assemby constituencies including Rampchodavaram,Prattipadu, Tuni, Pithapuram, Peddapuram, Amalapuram and Rajanagaram.MLC Pandula Ravindrababu, MLAs Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy,Kondeit Chittibabu, Joint Collector Welfare wing G.Rajakumari, DRO Sathibabu, EGS member Kalavala Mariyamma were among those attended.

Later Joint Collector Rajakumari told media persons that the beneficiaries under YSR Jalakala scheme can submit their application on both online and offline.

They should enclose the Pass book, Aadhar card along with their application for scrutiny and clearance by the District water management agency(DWMA). She advised the farmers to utilise the simplified application process for getting the benefit under the scheme.
