Ever since famous Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor spotted on the sets of Indian 2, reports are doing the rounds that he is playing an important role in the film. Earlier, the film’s director Shankar had approached Ajay Devgn to play the antagonist but due to budget constraints, the makers couldn’t afford him.
The latest buzz is that Shankar has also approached Anil Kapoor as the actor had earlier worked him in the Hindi remake of Mudhalvan. The shoot of Indian 2 is currently progressing at a rapid pace in Rajahmundry and Chennai.
The film also boasts a long list of promising actors including Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Vivek, Nedumudi Venu, and Vidyut Jamwal.
Produced by Lyca, Rathnavelu is cranking the camera for the film and Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.
