Rajamahendravaram: Suruchi Sweet Home of Tapeshwaram has prepared a mega laddu weighing 500 kg to be offered to Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy on Friday, in connection with his Avirbhava Dinotsavam. The making of laddu started at 7.45 AM and completed at 10 AM on Thursday.
According to the sweet home public relations officer Varma, as many as 220 kg of sugar, 130 kg of Bengal gram flour, 110 kg of cow ghee, 6 kg of almond, 23 kg of cashew, 2 kg of Elachi and 500 grams of campher was used in the preparation of laddu.
Sweet Home owner Polisetti Malli Babu will hand over the laddu to the temple authorities on Friday evening after performing pooja and it will be taken to Annavaram in a specially decorated vehicle, he added.
