The ONGC’s Rajamahendravaram Asset donated Rs. 23.72 lakh to the government hospital at Rajamahendravaram for improving its infrastructure and facilities.
Executive Director and Asset Manager D.M.R. Sekhar handed over the cheque for the amount to hospital superintendent M. Rajasekhar. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sekhar said the ONGC is committed to welfare activities and planning to spend another Rs. 20 lakh to renovate the toilets in the hospital.
Renovation
Dr. Rajasekhar said the donation amount would be spent on setting up two body mortuary chambers (freezers) and renovation of the medical ward for emergency services in the neurosurgery department of the hospital.
