There were rumors about buyers hesitating to bet big on Sukumar-Ram Charan’s rural drama Rangasthalam. But the hit audio and the massy look of the film have raised the expectations on the film.
Sukumar is known for making classy and stylish action films, but Rangasthalam seem to be entirely different from his previous outings.
Every song of Rangasthalam that is released till now has a very good mass appeal, which is pulling the buyers to come up with huge offers.
East Godavari distribution rights of Rangasthalam were fetched for a whopping Rs. 6.03 crore. This is higher than Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 and Pawan’s Katamarayudu. It is lower than Agnyathavasi but a superb deal taking Sukumar’s previous films into consideration.
Rangasthalam is set in Rajahmundry and also shot there. So V3 Entertainments came forward with a lucrative offer as they predict that the movie will do well in their district.
West Godavari distributor also is willing to pay Rs. 6 crore. Rangasthalam suddenly turned red hot in the trade as it nears the release day, i.e. March 30.
