Rajahmundry: Union minister for water resources and road transport Nitin Gadkari vowed all help to facilitate expeditious execution of Polavaram Project, as it is considered to be a lifeline for Andhra Pradesh.
The Union minister and the CM inspected the progress of execution of the project on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed satisfaction over the pace of the project works and said that they will complete them by end of this year.
Mr Gadkari promised that the Centre will accord sanctions sought by the state government on a war-footing manner for the project. He also sounded confident to execute the project in a transparent manner giving no chance for graft in order to dedicate it to the nation for the benefit of a large number of farmers and appreciated the efforts of Mr Naidu. The CM appealed to the Union minister to extend all help to the state.
