Special trains to Bengaluru, Trivandrum, Kanyakumari

Visakhapatnam: With a view to clear extra rush of passengers, the Railways will run one trip of super-fast special train each between Howrah and Yesvantpur and between Howrah and Thiruvananthapuram, both leaving Howrah on Thursday, and one trip of special train between Santragachi and Kanniyakumari leaving Santragachi on September 4.

The Howrah-Thiruvananthapuram Superfast special (06516) leaving Howrah at 01.05 hrs o­n 31.8.2017 will reach Visakhapatnam on the same day at 15.05hrs and leave at 15.50hrs to reach Thiruvananthapuram at 22.35 hrs., the next day.

En route this pair of trains stops at Howrah jn,Kharagpur jn,Balasore,Bhadrakh,Jajpur Keonjhar road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda road, Balugan,Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulamroad, Vizianagram, Visakhapatnam,Rajamundry,Vijayawada, Chennaicentral, Ttiruvalangadu, Katpadi, Jolarpettai,Salem,Erode, Tiruppur,Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur Aluva, Ernakulamtown, Kottayam, Tiruvalla,Kayankulam, Kollam ,Trivandrum pett, Thiruvananthapuram central

This superfast special consists of o­ne AC-2 tier, four AC 3 tier, thirteen Sleeper Class, o­ne Second Class Chair Car and two General Second Class coaches .

Train No. 02524 Howrah – Yeshvantpur Superfast special train o­n special fare will leave Howrah at 10:00 hrs o­n Thursday to reach Vizianagaram at 22.00hrs. It will again leave Vizianagaram at 22.10hrs on the same day and arrive at Yeshvantpur at 18:25 hrs o­n the next day.

En route, this special train will stop at Kharagpur, Hijili, Balasore, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Bramhapur, Vizianagaram, Samalkot, Vijayawada, Gudur, Chennai Central, Katpadi and Jolarpettai Stations. These trains consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper and Second Class coaches

Train No. 02525 Bengaluru Cant – Malda Town o­ne way Superfast special train on special fare left Bengaluru Cant at 23:40 hrs o­n Wednesday. It will reach Visakhapatnam at 19.15hrs on Friday and will arrive in Malda Town at 17:15 hrs o­n the same day.

En route, this special train will stop at Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Central, o­ngole, Vijayawada, Rajamundhry, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Bramhapur, Balugan, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrakh, Balasore, Kharagpur, Santragachi, Howrah Jn, Bolpur S Niktn, Rampur Hat and New Farakka stations. These trains consist of AC II Tier,AC III Tier, Sleeper and Second Class coaches.

Similarly, train No. 06905 Kanniyakumari-Santargachi special train will leave Kanyakumari at 23:00 hrs o­n Thursday to reach Visakhapatnam on September 2, at 06.15hrs. It will leave Vizag again at 06.35hrs and arrive in Santragachi at 21:15 hrs o­n Saturday.

In the return direction, Train No. 06906 Santragachi – Kanyakumari special train will leave Santragachi at 11.15 hrs o­n September 4 to reach Visakhapatnam next day at 01.10hrs and arrive in Kanyakumari at
09:50 hrs o­n Wednesday.

En route, these special trains will stop at Kharagpur,Hijili, Balasore, Bhadrakh, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Rd, Bramhapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Rd, Vizainagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, o­ngole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Chengannur, Kollam, Thiruvanantapuram Central and Nagarcoil stations in both the directions.
These special trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.
