The Central Crime Station (CCS) police on Tuesday arrested a three-member gang on the charge of resorting to burglaries in A.P. and Telangana and recovered from them gold jewellery weighing 500 gram, silver ornaments of 9.32 kg, two bikes and an LED TV, all worth about Rs. 20 lakh.
Superintendent of Police Vishal Gunni charged Sheik Aziz, 30, of Kajuluru, Cheekatla Satish, 26, of Kondagudem in West Godavari district and Sheik Bashi, 45, of Mallikarjuna Nagar, Rajamahendravaram, with committing 21 house break-ins in the East and West Godavari districts. Sheik Aziz was arrested in 50 cases, while Satish was charged with involvement in 40 cases. The trio teamed up in the Central prison while undergoing imprisonment and had been committing offences since December, 2016, following the release of Aziz from the jail.
Now, the CCS police arrested Aziz in connection with 12 burglaries, Satish in 12 cases and Bashi in three cases.
