RAJAHMUNDRY: Seven persons were killed while six suffered injuries after the van they were travelling in overturned between Maredumilli and Chinturu ghat road in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.
The accident took place when the Karnataka based van, carrying 13 people, overturned after its driver lost control of the wheel. The bus was on its way to Rajahmundry from Bhadrachalam.
The injured were shifted to a hospital in Rampachodavaram. The condition of the two injured is stated to be critical.
