Big blow to Jana Sena, Akula quits

In a big blow to Jana Sena party, one more senior leader has resigned to the party. He is Akula Satyanarayana who has very close association with party president Pawan Kalyan.

Akula had joined Jana Sena just before the general elections from BJP. He contested for the Rajahmundry Lok Sabha seat and lost to YSRCP's Marganti Bharat Ram by a huge majority.

In 2014, Akula contested for the assembly on behalf of BJP and won from Rajahmundry city constituency. With BJP snubbing 'special status,' Akula joined Jana Sena and he was given good importance in the party.

But things are not well in Jana Sena in recent times. The other day, senior leader and government programs monitoring chairman Chintala Parthasarathy has quit the party and now with Akula's exit, Jana Sena is losing prominent leaders.

During these crisis times, Pawan Kalyan needs to step in and give an assurance to the party leaders and cadre about the future. We shall see what will Pawan do to contain his leaders.
