Narayana Sastry felicitated

Rajamahendravaram: Sri Vidya Saraswathi Peetam of Visakhapatnam felicitated Bhagavathi Narayana Sastry, popularly known as Bobby on the premises of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Temple here on Monday, under the aegis of Sri Gayatri Purohita Samakya.

On behalf of Sri Vidya Saraswathi Peetam, Gullapalli Sitarama Chandra Ghanapati offered Suvarna Simha Talatam Kantabharanam to Bobby and a gold necklace to his wife Rama.

Later, the peetam conferred a title ‘Pooravapara Smarta Vibhushana’ on Bobby in recognition to his services rendering in Vaidika Karmas for four decades and for his services to the poor in performing Vaidika Karmas.

Sri Vidya Saraswathi Peetam chief Garimella Veerahadra Avadhani said, “Though it is little late, we honoured the great person who is putting his efforts to protect Vaidika Karmas with honesty and as per sastras. Felicitating him is honour to Peetam.”

Mahamahopadhaya Viswanadha Gopala Krishna, Gullapalli Sitarama Chandra Ghanapati, Chirravuri Srirama Sarma, Bhamidi Subramanyam, Gadepalli Venkata Ramana Avadhani, Indraganti Suribabu and many vedic pundits and scholars participated in the felicitation function.
