More than 100 officers receive transfer orders

Vijayawada: Ten IAS officers and 91 special grade deputy collector rank officials were transferred on Saturday.
Among the transferred IAS officers was K Ram Gopal, secretary in minorities welfare department. He is now posted as secretary for mines in industries and commerce and also director of mines. Similarly, I Srinivas Srinaresh was posted as secretary for handlooms and textiles.
While P Koteswara Rao is waiting for his posting as commissioner of VMRDA, C Naga Rani is waiting for posting as director, youth services and MD of APSTEP.
M Hari Narayanan has been posted as special commissioner of land administration and nodal officer for acquisition of land for 25 lakh house sites.
P Arun Babu, vice chairman of NUDA is now director of civil supplies in place of M Vijaya Suneetha who was posted as joint secretary in the office of commissioner of land administration. While B Lavanya Devi is now director of employment and training, M N Harendhira Prasad will look after Kapu Corporation.
Mahesh Kumar Ravirala has been transferred as sub collector of Rajahmundry.
