TDP MP Muralimohan speaks about separate country for South India, triggers row

Hyderabad: TDP MP, Mr. M Muralimohan triggered a row after he spoke about the separate country for South India.

According to the report published in TOI, he claimed that the day is not very far when states of South India would declare itself as a separate country.

He said this in a press conference held in Rajahmundry on 12th February. However, the video went viral after two TDP ministers resigned from Central Cabinet. Do not compel five states of south India to declare itself as a separate country, he said.

He also claimed that in the south, there is a feeling of being neglected. After the video went viral, many Twitterati reacted.

According to the report published in The News Minute, earlier, actor-politician Pawan Kalyan also raised questions on tax revenues sharing formula.

Last year, he clarified that north-south divide is not between people rather political class. He also highlighted the importance of respecting “sub-national” identity.
