Allu Sirish sold candles and paper cups as part of Lakshmi Manchu’s ‘Memu Saitham’

Allu Sirish shot for Lakshmi Manchu’s ‘Memu Saitham’ today, selling candles and paper cups for a cause in Rajahmundry.
Yesterday, the actor had taken to social media to mobilise people. He wrote, “Hello Rajahmundry! I’m coming to GIET college tomorrow 1230pm to raise funds for “Janani Manasika Vikalandukula Seva Samithi” by selling candles & papers cups. Please come & buy them its for a good cause. #MemuSaitham @LakshmiManchu” (sic)
Whatever proceeds the actor had generated today will go towards helping the needy. Lakshmi Manchu has returned as the host for the second season of ‘Memu Saitham’ that begun recently. Promoting the show and mobilising people too, Lakshmi had written on her social media few days ago, “Don’t let the obstacles stop you from chasing your dreams! Be it college bills or career issues, #MemuSaithamSeason2 is just a call away to help you in uplifting your lives better…‪+91 9100665546 or +91 9100665547.” (sic)
Recently, ‘Rangasthalam’ star Ram Charan too was a part of the show. The more stars take part in the show, the more money gets raked up for the needy. Celebs like Rakul Preet, Naga Shourya, Anushka Shetty and more have already set the pace for the show in the previous episodes. In the first episode of season 2, Anushka Shetty was seen raising money at a petrol bunk in Film Nagar. The second season of the show had begun shoot in the beginning of February.
Apart from ‘Memu Saitham’, Lakshmi Manchu is seen hosting the popular show ‘Maharani’ too which runs along the lines of women empowerment.
