‘My Stamp’ to promote Andhra Pradesh tourism

AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department Corporation (APTDC) has come up with an innovative idea of promoting its important places through postal stamps. The department has decided to use ‘My Stamp’ facility of the postal department to popularise tourist places in the state. Initially, the department proposed to promote 12 important places using ‘My Stamp’ facility of the postal department, said tourism secretary Mukesh Kumar Meena.
N Chandrababu Naidu would release the stamps. The tourism secretary said the department would get ‘My Stamps’ for Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirupati, Sri Mallikharjuna temple at Srisailam, Goddess Kanakadurga temple in Vijayawada, tribal exhibition at Araku, Gandikota in Kadapa, RK Beach in Vizag, Chandragiri Port in Chittoor, Pavitra Sangamam at Amaravati, Papi Hills at Rajahmundry, Borra Caves at Araku, Pulicat Lake at Nellore and Meditating Buddha in Amaravati.
