South Central Railwey, in order to clear extra rush of passengers, has introduced ten weekly special trains between Santragachi (Kolkata) – Chennai Central, according a release here on Friday.
Accordingly, Train No. 02841 Santragachi-Chennai Central train will depart Santragachi at 12:40 hrs on December 3, 10, 17, 24and 31 (Sundays) and arrive Chennai Central at 15:20 hrs on Mondays. In the return direction, Train No. 02842 Chennai Central-Santragachi train will depart Chennai Central at 18:20 hrs on Dec 4, 11, 18, 25 and 1st January, 2018 (Mondays) and arrive Santragachi at 23:30 hrs on Tuesdays.
Enroute these special trains will stop at Gudur, Nellore, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Duvvada, Vishakapatnam,Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak and Kharagpur stations in both the directions. These trains will have AC III tier, sleeper class and luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
