Govt transfers 15 IPS officers

The Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday transferred 15 IPS officers and gave them new postings.

Additional director general (DG) M Malakondaiah, director of RBVRR APPA, has been transferred and posted as director general of the AntiCorruption Bureau (ACB).He will also be holding the post of director of APPA.

Three inspector generals (IGs) Anjana Sinha, Kumar Vishwajeet and G Su ryaprakasa Rao, who were waiting for postings, have been posted as IG of Technical Services, IG of North Coastal Zone and IG of Coastal Security respectively in the existing vacancies.

Sarvashresth Tripathi, a 2006-batch IPS officer, was named SP , Guntur (urban), in the existing vacancy, while 2007-batch officer B Rajakumari was posted as Commandant, APSP VI Battalion, Mangalagiri.

K Narayana Naik, Group Commander, Greyhounds, AP , has been post ed as SP , Guntur (rural), while incumbent officer PHD Ramakrishna has been transferred and posted as SP (intelligence) in the existing vacancy .

West Godavari SP K Raghuram Reddy was transferred and posted as Group Commander, Greyhounds, Visakhapatnam.Bhaskar Bhushan, the 2009-batch officer, has replaced him. Nellore SP S Senthil Kumar has been transferred and posted as Group Commander, Greyhounds, Hyderabad, through an ex-cadre post, while 2008-batch officer Gajrao Bhupal, who was waiting for a posting, has replaced him.

D Nagendra Kumar, a 2003-batch IPS officer who was waiting for a posting, has been named as chief vigilance and security officer of TTD in Tirupati, in the existing vacancy .

Another IPS officer K Koteswara Rao was posted as SP , Intelligence, AP , in the existing vacancy . Kanthi Rana Tata, a 2004-batch officer, has been posted as SP, CID, in the existing vacancy.
