Samantha has started shooting for the Tamil-Telugu remake of Kannada hit U-Turn in Rajahmundry. To be directed by Pawan Kumar, Aadhi of Eeram and Mirugam fame plays a cop in the film and Rahul Ravindran will be seen playing Samantha’s boyfriend in U-Turn.
In the original Kannada version, a flyover played a pivotal role and in the remake too, Pawan is said to have finalized flyovers in the outskirts of Chennai and Hyderabad.
In the film, Samantha will be seen playing the role of a young reporter who investigates a series of mysterious murders. Niketh Bommireddy is cranking the camera for the film but the rest of the crew details are yet to be revealed.
Besides U-Turn, Samantha also has Sivakarthikeyan’s Seemaraja, Vishal’s Irumbuthirai and Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s Super Deluxe in the pipeline.
