Director General of Police N. Sambasiva Rao is going to hold a meeting on ganja smuggling and other drug abuse-related issues at a hotel here on Thursday.
Rajamahendravaram Urban Police Superintendent B. Rajakumari, in a statement here on Wednesday, said that the meeting would be attended by A.B. Venkateswara Rao, Director, Enforcement, Prohibition and Excise department, Ch. Dwaraka Tirumalarao, Additional Director General, Intelligence, K.R.M. Kishore Kumar, Additional DG, CID, Harish Kumar Gupta, Additional DG, Railway, Kumar Viswajeet, Additional DG, Law and Order, T. Yoganand, Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam and K. Venkateswara Rao, Director, (Enforcement), P&E.
IGPs will also attend the meeting besides some other officials.
The Superintendents of Police of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari., West Godavari and Krishna districts besides railway superintendents and the officials of various other departments concerned with the issue will also participate in the deliberations.
