Deepak The State Government has failed to take up the implementation of welfare schemes for tribals, representatives of different tribes said at a state-level meeting of Scheduled Tribe organisations. The Government has not taken any step to fill in backlog vacancies under ST quota, there is a need to conduct a special ST DSC for recruitment of teachers for schools in the ITDA areas, even this has not been done. The State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has persistently been ignoring the interests of the STs and has not taken a single step to prove its commitment to welfare of Girijans, founder president of Girijana Reservation Porata Samithi RS Dora said at a state level meeting of organisations of STs organised by Girijana Aikya Vedika here on Saturday.
