Koratala Siva’s Acharya starring Chiranjeevi Konidela, Kajal Aggarwal and Ram Charan has been the talk of the town since its inception. The makers are currently shooting for the film’s important schedule in Rajahmundry. Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan will be sharing screen space for the first time and this is something that audience is eagerly looking forward to. The star cast is only getting bigger and interesting as Pooja Hegde joins the team today for her cameo in Acharya. Yes, Pooja will join the Acharya team from today for her cameo and will be playing a very different role having rural background. Pooja is teaming up with Ram Charan for the first time and fans are super excited to know what’s in store for them. 

Meanwhile, sharing about his role in Acharya, Ram Charan recently shared, “It will be an absolute honour for me to be able to share the same frame as my father. Also, it is not a cameo but a full-fledged role for me. I want to thank director Koratala Siva for making this happen.”  Trisha Krishnan’s was set to return to Telugu cinema with Acharya but due to creative differences, she opted out and Kajal Aggarwal stepped in. Acharya is jointly bankrolled by Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Production Company in association with Niranjan Reddy’s Matinee Entertainment. Mani Sharma is scoring the music of the mega-budget film.  Acharya is set to release on May 13.

Pooja, who was last seen opposite Allu Arjun in Ala Vaikuntapuramloo, is looking forward to the grand release of her much-awaited Pan India film titled, Radhe Shyam. The film stars Prabhas in the male lead role.
