Megastar Chiranjeevi received a heartwarming welcome in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh from his ardent fans. He will be shooting for his upcoming film, Acharya, in Rajahmundry for the next couple of weeks. As fans got to know that Chiranjeevi is arriving, they came all prepared. They showered him with flowers and their love to extend a warm welcome to Chiranjeevi.

CHIRANJEEVI GETS WARM WELCOME IN RAJAHMUNDRY

Chiranjeevi is currently in Rajahmundry for the shooting of his upcoming film, Acharya. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film also stars his son Ram Charan in a full-fledged role. On Sunday (February 21), Chiranjeevi headed to Rajahmundry from Hyderabad.

Fans got to know about Chiranjeevi's arrival and gathered at the airport to give him a grand welcome. Nearly hundreds of fans gathered near the airport and showered flowers on Chiranjeevi. They hooted and cheered him with whistles. Photos and videos from Rajahmundry are doing the rounds on social media.

According to reports, traffic came to a standstill and the police tried their best to clear the congestion.

ACHARYA TEASER IS OUT

Last month, Chiranjeevi and the team of Acharya released the film's teaser. The one-minute-long promo begins with Ram Charan's voiceover introducing his father Chiranjeevi's character Acharya. He shared the teaser and wrote, "Witness our Vintage Megastar as ACHARYA! (sic)."

Directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya stars Chiranjeevi, Kajal Aggarwal, Ram Charan, Sonu Sood and Tanikella Bharani in lead roles. Ram Charan will be seen as Siddha in the film and is currently shooting for the film with his father.

Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments will jointly produce this venture. Acharya's technical crew includes cinematographer Tirru and editor Navin Nooli.
