A lot of incidents of people flouting social distancing norms are being reported in India despite the massive spike in the number of cases. In yet another incident in Andhra Pradesh, Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) members have been caught flouting social distancing norms to welcome new ambulances in East Godavari and north Andhra districts of Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. A large group of people were seen bursting firecrackers and dancing to popular songs for the welcoming. In addition to this, the locals also stated that the police were present during the event however, no action was taken against the members for flouting the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the government amid the lockdown.
