Rajamahendravaram: MP Margani Bharat Ram submitted a memorandum to Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) chairman and managing director Asutosh Karnatak at his office on Friday, with a request to take up development works under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Rajamahendravaram Parliamentary Constituency.
Speaking to ‘The Hans India’ here on Friday, Bharat Ram said Asutosh Karnatak responded positively to his request and assured to take up development works.
Many works has to be taken up in the assembly constituencies of Rajamahendravaram Urban, Rajamahendravaram Rural, Anaparthi, Rajanagaram in East Godavari district and Kovvur, Gopalapuram and Nidadavolu in West Godavari district, he said.
All the pending development works in the seven assembly constituencies will be completed in a phased manner with government funds as well as with CSR funds of various government and private companies, he added.
