Visakhapatnam: After a long wait, Double Decker Uday Express is all set to commence its five-day a week operation from September 26. The Ministry of Railways decided to launch the Train No 22701/ 22702 Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam with open timings.
However, the regular service will commence from September 27, the next day after the formal launch. Train No 22701 Visakhapatnam- Vijayawada Double Decker Uday express will leave Visakhapatnam on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday at 5:45 am and reach Vijayawada at 11.15 am.
In return direction, Train No 22702 Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam Uday Express will leave Vijayawada on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday at 5:30 pm and reach Visakhapatnam at 11 pm. The express will have stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Samarlakota, Rajamahendravaram, Tadepalligudem and Eluru between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.
