Rajahmundry: State education minister Adimulapu Suresh on a visit to Adikavi Nannaya University near Rajahmundry on Wednesday said that steps will be taken at all state universities to ensure quality education.
Suresh said the YSR Congress government is against the private educational system and pledged that the government educational system will be developed to its potential. He added that the state government has earmarked Rs 33,000 crore for education in the 2019-20 budget.
Vacant posts of lecturers and non-teaching staff in universities will be filled up soon, Suresh said. He added universities should generate employment, and an action plan is being formulated to set up skill development centres.
