Jagan shattered people’s dreams in 50 days: TDP

Rajamahendravaram: TDP rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary criticised that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy shattered the dreams of the people in a short span of 50 days, by lying about the promises given during his Praja Sankalpa Yatra.

Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, Gorantla said the functioning of assembly is not satisfactory and all the ruling party MLA’s are trying to dominate opposition party by hurling un-parliamentary words for which they have to feel shy. Assembly speaker Tammineni Sitaram is functioning as per the directions of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

The speaker is not giving mike to opposition leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu on the instructions of the Chief Minister, he alleged. The speaker suspended TDP MLAs for questioning about the promises given by YSRCP and the suspension is not justifiable, he averred.

YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s channel is showing ruling party MLAs speech setting aside TDP MLAs speech and the government is trying to control media like in Telangana state, he alleged. The TDP cannot be a mere spectator, if the government takes decisions against the interests of people, he warned.

TDP honoured the mandate given by the people and YSRCP government is not retaining it and the Chief Minister stopped the works of Amaravati, Polavaram Project and works relating to various departments in the state because of which the development of the state was hampered, he said. The Chief Minister is appointing his supporters and his men in all committees and the people are keenly watching him, he added.
