Rajahmundry: Differences between the Telugu Desam and the Jana Sena seem to have affected their cadre too. Such differences have resulted in a TD supporter attacking a JS activist after which the latter went missing at Draksharama village in East Godavari on Friday.
According to police, JS activist Thota Ramakrishna used to run a fast food centre in the village to support his family. In the process of electioneering, he developed some differences with TD activist Kakileti Sai who is a supporter of TD sitting MLA Thota Trimurthulu representing Ramachandrapuram Assembly constituency.
On April 11, differences erupted between Thota Ramakrishna and Kakileti Sai and their friends leading to attack on Ramakrishna.
The JS activist threatened the TD supporters that he would go to Vijayawada to meet Pawan Kalyan and complain.
However, he was persuaded to put off his visit with a promise to settle the issue in the presence of elders on April 12. He was dropped at his house late in the night on April 11.
However, the JS activist moved out of his house on his bike at about 3 am on April 12. His wife lodged a missing person complaint with the police.
