TDP should be blamed for non-allocation of funds to priority sectors in Union Budget, said YSRCP leaders.
Addressing the media here on Friday, greater Rajamahendravaram YSRCP convener and former MLC Kandula Durgesh and former MLA Rowthu Suryaprakasha Rao said promises made in AP Reorganisation Act were not kept by the Centre.
They said Thursday’s budget was the last budget before the elections and TDP failed in getting funds many sectors.
Mr. Durgesh recalled that YSRCP was reminding the TDP to pressurise the Centre in getting funds and include them in budget, but nothing was achieved by state government. He said meagre allocation was done to 11 Central institutions, with which the State can’t construct even compound walls. He said State has got nothing as far as agriculture sector and common man was not taken into confidence while making budget.
He advised the Chief Minister instead of making statements like Centre has ditched the State and thinking of taking final call on alliance, Mr. Naidu should ask his two Ministers to resign and also come out of NDA.
Meanwhile, the two leaders along with YSRCP State youth president Jakkampudi Raja condemned attack on Adapa Venkataramana, president of Hotel Anand Regency workers union and YSRCP trade union wing district president.
