LPS got appreciation, says GUDA Chairman

Chairman of Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) Ganni Krishna on Monday said that State government’s Land Pooling System (LPS) for Amaravati got lot of appreciation in different States where chairmen and vice-chairmen of Urban Development Authorities have undertaken a study tour recently.

Addressing media conference here on Monday, he said that pooling of 33,000 acres from farmers with the effort of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu got all round appreciation from Urban Development Authorities in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana and Utter Pradesh.

He informed that GUDA is planning to take up different activities with the support of Rajamahendravaram and Kakinada Municipal Corporations including Airport Road development in Rajamahendravaram, park in Lalacheruvu, NTR Circle development in Peddapuram, road development between Acchampeta and Sarpavaram Junctions.

He said that they are going to organise training programme for GUDA licensed surveyors on February 17 and added that these surveyors can take up their work anywhere in GUDA purview.
