Central team to visit Rajahmundry for Swachh Survey

Rajahmundry: As a Central team is expected to visit the city on February 5 to carry out Swachh Survekshan Survey-2018, civic authorities are appealing the people to ensure sanitation is maintained to get better ranks nationally.

Civic authorities have been campaigning for the last few days advising people to not dispose off domestic garbage on public roads and places. All 50 divisions in the corporation limits have been divided into 345 micro pockets and special teams are moving to bring about awareness among the people and inspect the commercial and residential areas to ensure maintenance of sanitation.

In a press release issued here on Thursday, municipal commissioner V. Vijay Rama Raju appealed the people to cooperate with civic authorities to maintain sanitation and cleanliness. He advised people to visit the web portal of Swachh Survekshan and give feedback on the maintenance of sanitation and other amenities so as to get a good rank in the survey adding that so far, 13,500 have given their feedback.
