Special trains extended to clear holiday rush

Visakhapatnam: To clear the holiday rush of passengers, East Coast Railway has decided to extend special train services and change the timings of some special trains.
Train No. 08573 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati weekly special express will leave Visakhapatnam on Mondays at 22.55 hrs from January 1 to February 26, and will reach Tirupati the next day at 13.25 hrs. In return direction, 08574 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam weekly special will leave Tirupati on Tuesdays at 15.30 hrs from January 2 to February 27 and will reach Vizag next morning at 6.50 hrs.
The train will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, New Guntur, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti and Renigunta between Vizag and Tirupati.
Train No. 08501 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad weekly special express will leave Visakhapatnam on Tuesdays at 23.00 hrs from January 2 to February 27 and reach Secunderabad on the next day at 12.00 hrs. In the return direction, the train (08502) will leave Secunderabad on Wednesdays at 16.30 hrs from January 3 to February 27 and reach the city the next morning at 4.50 hrs. The train will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet on the way to Vizag.
