East Coast Railway to run special trains

Visakhapatnam: East Coast Railway decided to extend the special train services to clear extra rush during festival season.

Visakhapatnam-Tirupati-Visakhapatnam weekly special: Train No. 08573

Visakhapatnam- Tirupati weekly special express will leave Visakhapatnam on Mondays at 22.55 hrs from January 1, 2018, to February 26, 2018, to reach Tirupati on the next day at 13.25 hrs.

In the return direction, the train No. 08574 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam weekly special express will leave Tirupati on Tuesdays at 15.30 hrs from January 02, 2018 to February 27, 2018, to reach Visakhapatnam on the next day morning at 06.50 hrs.

This pair of trains has stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, New Guntur, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti and Renigunta between Visakhapatnam and Tirupati.

Composition: one 2nd AC, four 3rd AC coaches, nine sleeper class coaches, six general second class coaches and two second class cum luggage coaches.

Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam weekly special: Train No. 08501

Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad weekly special express will leave Visakhapatnam on Tuesdays at 23.00 hrs from January 2, 2018, to February 27, 2018, to reach Secunderabad on the next day at 12.00 hrs.

In the return direction, the train No.08502 Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam weekly special express will leave Secunderabad on Wednesdays at 16.30 hrs from January 03, 2018 to February 27, 2018, to reach Visakhapatnam on the next day morning at 04.50 hrs.

These trains will have stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad in both the directions.

Composition: one 2nd AC, three 3rd AC, ten sleeper class, six general second class coaches and two second class cum luggage coaches.

Also, train No. 08511 Kirandul -Visakhapatnam special train with special fare will leave Kirandul daily from January 1, 2018, to March 31, 2018, at 15.00 hrs and reach Visakhapatnam at 03.00 hrs on the following day.

Train No.08512 from Visakhapatnam – Kirandul special train with special fare will leave Visakhapatnam daily from December 31, 2017, to March 30, 2018, at 22.15 hrs and reach Kirandul at 10.00 hrs on the next day.

En route these special trains will stop at Kottavalasa, Araku, Koraput, Jeypore, Kotpar Road, Jagdalpur, Dilmili, Kaklur, Dantewara and Bacheli in both directions.

Composition: one AC III Tier, three sleeper class, three general second class and two second class luggage cum brake van coaches.
