Special Trains between Kanyakumari-Santragachi and Bengaluru-Howrah

Hyderabad: In order to clear the extra rush due to floods over the North Frontier Railway and dislocation of trains, four special trains will be run between Kanyakumari – Santragachi and Bengaluru City – Howrah as detailed below:

Train No. 06905/06906 Kanyakumari-Santragachi-Kanyakumari Special Trains (02 services):

Train No. 06905 Kanyakumari – Santragachi Special fare special train will depart Kanyakumari at 23:00 hrs on 7th September, 2017 (Thursday) arrive/depart Hijli at 19:05/19:10 hrs on the second day and arrive Santragachi at 21:15 hrs.

In the return direction, Train No. 06906 Santragachi – Kanyakumari Special fare special train will depart Santragachi at 11.15 hrs on 11th September, 2017 (Monday) arrive/depart Hijli at 13:05/13:07 hrs and arrive Kanyakumari at 09:50 hrs on the second day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Nagarcoil, Thiruvanantapuram Central, Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Aluva, Thrisur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Vizainagaram, Srikakulam Rd, Palasa, Bramhapur, Khurda Rd, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrakh, Balasore, Hijili and Kharagpur stations in both the directions.

These special trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.

Train No. 06553/06554 Bengaluru City-Howrah – Bengaluru City Superfast special Trains (02 services):

Train No. 06553 Bengaluru City – Howrah Superfast special train on special fare will depart Bengaluru City at 23:30 hrs on 7th September, 2017 (Thursday) and arrive Howrah at 10:55 hrs on Saturday.

In the return direction, Train No. 06554 Howrah – Bengaluru City Superfast special train on special fare will depart Howrah at 01:05 hrs on 10th September, 2017 (Sunday) and arrive Bengaluru City at 11:40 hrs on Monday.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Bengaluru Cantt, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Central, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Balugan, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrakh, Balasore and Kharagpur stations in both the directions.

These trains consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper and General Second Class coaches.
