NAAC grade for Providence Women’s College

The Providence Women’s College here has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for the third cycle with A+ grade and a CGPA of 3.52.

The NAAC peer team comprising Chairperson Dr. Nirupa Rani, former Vice Chancellor of AN University, Rajahmundry; Coordinator Prof. Sunita Kumbhat, faculty of science, JN Vyas University, Jodhpur; and member Dr. Deo Subhash Atmaram, Principal, GJ College, Ratnagiri, visited the college on August 2l and 22.

The team had appreciated the performance of the college in the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular fields. The members rated the extension activities of the college as pioneering ventures initiated even before the national missions like the Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan, and also recommended for further growth. The UGC granted the status of CPE – College with Potential for Excellence – to the institution in 2016, the college Principal said.
