RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM: Andhra Pradesh Gas Distribution Corporation Ltd (APGDC) Managing Director S Narayanan has said Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will be supplied to consumers through a pipeline in East and West Godavari districts soon.
Speaking after performing Bhumi Puja for a CNG station at Kovvur on Friday, he said it was decided to give one lakh connections in twin Godavari districts. Another CNG station will be set up at Nidadavole soon. As off now, the gas pipeline is there from Kakinada to Visakhapatnam and it will be extended up to Srikakulam soon.
“We are planning to synchronise the door-to-door supply of LPG in Kovvur, Tadepalligudem, Tanuku and Rajamahendravaram. We have also proposed to supply CNG to all RTC bus depots in the State,” the APGDC MD added.
