Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) conducted a GST awareness workshop for stakeholders on Friday here.
R.K. Das, General Manager of AP Region, who presided over the meeting, said that it was a must for all vendors of GAIL to obtain the Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration to get the benefit of Input Tax Credit. Chief guest G. Ramakrishna Raju Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Central GST Region, Rajamahendravaram briefed the participants about the GST and its significance and distributed GST-related material to them. Tax consultant V.V.V.S. Kiran gave a presentation.
