Don’t defame TDP leaders on social media: Ganni Krishna

YSRCP and some intellectuals alleging that the TDP has no respect towards social media, which is absolutely wrong, says Ganni Krishna

Telugu Desam Party state organising secretary Ganni Krishna clarified that TDP party is having respect on social media but it will not tolerate those people who are posting against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son and minister Nara Lokesh on social media.

Addressing press conference here on Tuesday, Krishna said that social media should be used for society and public purpose but not to defame someone. He alleged that YSR Congress is directly involved in the mud-slinging activity from few months and trying to defame TDP top leaders. When his party is trying to tell the public about the YSRCP’s bad propaganda in social media, some intellectuals are branding them that TDP has no respect towards social media, which is absolutely wrong.

He reminded that a person like Vijayasai Reddy who was in jail for 16 months along with YS Jagan in money laundering case has started bad propaganda against TDP on social media. He said that social media should not be made as forum for caste, religion and other conflicts and no one should allow this.

Krishna gave many examples on posts in social media and action taken against persons who have posted wrong postings. He recalled that when Siva Sena leader Bal Thackeray died, a lady posted a comment that (two day bandh was observed in Mumbai) if Thackeray was Gandhi to announce two days bandh.
