AP Police constable eligibility criteria

The Posts mentioned against Post Code nos. 21 to 26 only men are eligible to apply and women are eligible only for the Post Code nos. 27 & 28.
Age Limit: AP Police 2016 the candidate’s age should be 45 years as on 01/06/2016 for Master Posts and 42 years as on 01/07/2013 for Sarang / Navigator Posts, 37 Years as on 01/06/2016 for Engine Driver and Kalasi Posts.
For Post Code No’s 21 to 25, 27 to 28- A person who is serving as a Home Guard on the date of notification for a minimum duration of 360 days within 2 Years and who is still serving as Home Guard must have the Age between 18 years and less than 30 Years as on 1st July 2012 i.e. must have been born not earlier than 2nd July 1983 and not later than 1st July 1995.
In cases of all other candidates must be aged between 18 years and not more than 22 years.
For the Post code no. 26- Candidate must have age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 Years.
Minimum Education Requirements– The Candidate must hold Intermediate or its Equivalent Examination Recognized by State government. In case of Candidate belonging to Scheduled caste or Scheduled Tribes then She/he must have Passes SSC or its equivalent Exam Recognized by State Government and should have appeared and studied Intermediate Examinations Both in the 1st and 2nd year.
