Naidu to visit Singapore today

Hyderabad: With Singapore expected to come out with the master plan for  new capital for Andhra Pradesh city in a few days, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be visiting the city-state on March 30 and 31.On March 30, the Chief Minister will begin his day with a breakfast meeting with Singapore’s Minister of Foreign Affairs K Shanmugam and Ambassador at-Large Gopinath Pillai followed by a high-level meeting with Singapore’s Second Minister for Trade and Industry S Iswaran.

 After the lunch hosted by S Iswaran, the Chief Minister along with AP delegation will take part in a business seminar where several businessmen and industrialists will meet him. The Chief Minister will then attend a meeting on solid waste management which will be followed by signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.On March 31, the Chief Minister will meet Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. He will then go around Bishan Park and Toa Payoh Town which is an integrated transport hub, commercial and civic space. 

He will also visit an industrial estate and have an experiential learning journey in one of Singapore’s townships.The Chief Minister will visit Ascendas Science Park and depart for Hyderabad from Changi Airport on March 31 evening. AP delegation to Singapore includes ministers Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, P Narayana, advisor (communications)  Parakala Prabhakar, Special Chief secretary S P Tucker, Principal Secretary to CM Satish Chandra, Principal Secretary (Industries) Shamsher Singh Rawat, Principal Secretary  (MA&UD) Giridhar and CRDA CEO Srikanth.
